The Tuna 1 was designed by Kenny Mutton in 2011. It was first showcased at the Adidas Sickline Extreme Kayak World Championship where Sam Sutton used it to take the win by 2.3 seconds. From there, the Tuna has gone on to be the most successful kayak on the extreme racing circuit, winning almost every extreme race it has entered.
The Tuna 2 builds on the success of the Tuna 1. This new design is even stronger, faster, and lighter than its predessor, and has the maneouverability to make you feel like a pro. No other creek boat performs in the same way. This becomes obvious The first time you boof or accelerate off a wave as the Tuna 2 starts to plane, and you fly out of your landing. The Tuna’s unique tail reduces back looping and getting stopped in holes. The release edges allow it to still be manoeuvrable at speed, so a change of direction is no problem. It has plenty of room for gear, making it a great multi-day boat. From technical steep creeks to big water, the Tuna 2.0 will be your boat of choice.
